Tufted Titmouse

When I was going to the Woburn mall on saturday,I saw a bird in the bushes.Then later I looked at Mr.Williams science blog,and it looked like the Tufted Titmouse.I don't know if they live in New England all year round or flew hear,but this is a sign of spring to me.It's a sign of spring because some birds you see all year rond in bird feeders or n trees,but some travel south for the winter then come back when it gets warm.This is a sign that the air getting warmer.This is a picture I saw on the 20th of Feb.

SOS journal entry #2

Since it has been a few weeks since the last SOS journal I wrote;for me there has been a lot more signs of spring,for many reasons because its getting closer and closer to spring and in the last few weeks a lot of nature and non - nature has been changing.As you can see in the picture below little trees and bushes are coming out of the ground.This is happening becauseits the time of year the roots of little trees and bushes start forming and coming up out of the ground and I think it's because of the sun and different weather.This is also a personal sign of spring because as you can see in the other picture some of the skiing patches of the slop are  bare, and it doesn't have as much snow on it because the sun has been out almost every day and its melting the snow.This is a bad and good thing for me,its bad becuae it means I can only go skiing for a couple weeks;uless we got more snow!It's a good thing becuae it means its almost softball season and that is also one of my favorite sports.Also winter is my least favorite season , because its cold.

The days are getting shorter!

Another example how spring is changing is the days are getting shorter.I know this because during the week I went outside at 5:00 and the sun was already setting,as you can see in this picture.

One of the changes of spring I noticed in the last week was animal tracks.As you can see in these pictures these are tracks of bunnies that I saw in my friends yard.They live under her shed.This is a change of spring because animals like bunnies hybronate during the winter,and they store up all their food so they don't have to go outside.Now since the sun is coming out and the snow is melting;it's warm enough for the animals to come out.
